At a packed Victoria Gallery and Museum, Tom spoke about Roald Dahl's Marvellous Medicine and how and why he came to write the book. Afterwards Professor Sally Sheard (Professor of the History of Medicine) and Dr Esme Miskimmin (convenor of the Children's Literature module) led the audience discussion.

Then there was a drinks reception and book signing, with representatives from the charities being supported by the book. The event was part of the Being Human Festival: Hope & Fear.
